In Optimus Paper, you can easily manage your driver roster by activating or deactivating drivers as needed.
When a driver is marked as Inactive:
- You will no longer receive email alerts or calendar notifications for expiring documents tied to that driver.
- The driver will not count as an active seat on your subscription plan.
- Their information will remain saved in your system and can be reactivated at any time.
- Keep all historical data and documents, nothing is deleted when a driver is deactivated.
This is ideal for seasonal drivers who work only during certain times of the year or temporary hires brought on during high-demand periods. When you're ready to bring them back, simply reactivate the profile.
To update a driver’s status, follow these steps:
- From the main menu (top left), click on “Database” and select “Drivers.”
- Use the search bar at the top of the table to locate the driver you want to modify.
- Without clicking into the driver’s profile, go to the “Status” column.
- Click on the current status (either “Active” or “Inactive”) to switch it.
The change will apply immediately.
